Brief

Turning 20, our creative agency, Kinc, needed a fresh look, feel and tone to stand out in a competitive market of creative agencies.

Solution

Through entirely new website copy and tone, the Kinc brand embraced witty wording, saucy personality and a free rein on playfulness.

Entertaining our leads through socials, drawing their attention to a brand new, damn-good UX website (featuring engaging, industry-insight articles via 'The Kinc Tank', named by yours truly) and retargeting them with eye-catching, clickbait-esque paid advertising.

Simple yet sophisticated

Implementing language that’s to the point, I dressed the website with words that illustrated us as professional yet personable.

Spicily explained services

Who needs to hear the same old thing over again and again? “This service means this.” No, boring. If I’m writing as a creative agency, you better believe I’m using creative language to make even the service descriptions sound spicy.

Advertising knowledge, testing, 1, 2, 3

A little deep dive into my perspective on the fundamental nature of creativity in the industry. Needless to say, it was The Kinc Tank's debut post. Quite a fun one to write, actually.

The smoke behind the mirrors

If you aren’t a content creator, you probably don’t think about how much thought goes into making content engaging.

That’s why we thought that, for Social Media Day, we’d share the trends that influence our content strategies. Not only to demonstrate transparency to our clients, but also to position ourselves as in the know among the industry.

Social Strategy + Planning / Social Copy

Brief
Implement Kinc’s new website and brand personality into a social media strategy.

Solution
Adapting our tone to social media channels, LinkedIn and Meta, I focused on native-style, engaging content, tied in with educational tidbits that drive traffic to the website. The strategy positioned Kinc as thought-leaders in digital marketing, while demonstrating our human side - approachable and unafraid to have a bit of fun along the way.

Shameless website promo

Getting the word out about our new website, we had room for a little fun, or a lot of fun. 90’s retro-style fun, even.

Social Media Day 2023

Our strategy for Social Media Day was to complement our The Kinc Tank article by offering our followers the strategies behind the skill.

Humour, a powerful tool

When in doubt, send memes out. Memes, a tactic used across internet generations of the modern day to share laughs and points of view. Why not leverage them to promote Kinc’s new website?

Google Display Ads

Digital Ad Copy

Brief

Generate leads via Google Display for Kinc’s hottest services.

Solution

Using clickbait-style hooks, I played with copy that immediately calls out the service and the desired objective of potential clients. Short, sweet, direct and creative (as a creative agency should be).

Branding

Want to make your business stand out? Duh, who doesn’t.

Social Content

What every business who are clueless about social media want to know: how to make content so engaging it’s shareable.

Websites

What’s that one thing? It’s an agency full of creative know-how.

Campaigns

Name a more directly targeted way of appealing to businesses than highlighting the desire to outshine one’s own competitors.
