Brief

Mining and waste industries have their way of doing things - and getting them to change to new technology isn’t easy.

But when there’s software that can monitor every tiny environmental change in the one reporting platform (the first product of its kind) that helps to mitigate weather risks, save operation costs, while improving community and stakeholder compliance, it really is a no-brainer.

So, we needed to find an idea that could connect with global mining and waste industries, while demonstrating the complexity of Envirosuite’s positioning in a matter of seconds (around 60, to be precise).

Solution

Personify the brand with a charming character, whose personality reflects the brand values and product features.

Laced with humour, quirks and a certain je ne sais quois, our concept, brought to life through Evie, stands Envirosuite out from anything else that’s been done in the industry before.

We hook our audience by getting them engaged with what they already know: a common industry problem that’s not an easy fix - until you have Evie on site.

No boring tutorials, no skippable facts. Just a story with characters you can’t not love.

Mining

Filmed in the break-out room of a mining site, this execution sought to reflect the industry as much as possible, while intergrating elements of progressiveness and open-mindedness.

Yes, Eric?

Eric might not be sure about giving an answer given to him by a new, unconventional source, but when the answer from the source is right, he’s stoked he put his trust in it.

Waste

When bad news bursts through the door, you’re going to want a solution handy. Luckily, Evie not only reports the problem but she also offers solutions to fix it.

Damn, Neville.

We all know a Neville - the sweet comedic relief.

Neville makes the topic of odour entertaining to our audience, while tying into the bigger, industry-relevant problem at hand.

He’s a loveable colleague that you just can’t stand to smell. Thankfully, Evie’s got the odour-clearing solutions.

Website Landing Page

Brief

Envirosuite’s website is complex and tricky to navigate, so if our audience just saw our comedic-style, light-hearted ad, we needed somewhere for them to land that speaks the same language.

Solution

Summarising who Envirosuite are, what their products do and spelling out all the key bits, I implemented the same tone as the spots for clear consistency, letting Evie’s wit shine right through.

Putting the sense in sensational

After jumping on the ads’ CTA, our audience will land right here, so it was only natural that Evie’s tone and super-sense abilities carried over.
