Source-Based Writing / Social Copy
Brief
With an objective to drive regular traffic to their online library platform, Informit needed to share relevant articles via their social media channels, Meta and X (formerly Twitter), that could generate enough intrigue for Australians to sign up and visit the platform.
Solution
Through engaging image headline hooks and magnifying the “kicker” of each piece, while employing a professional tone that represented the university and credited the article’s author, I structured the social posts with a mousetrap strategy.
The strategy sought to regale and capture the audience, then make the satisfying conclusion of the article’s substance only attainable by joining the Informit platform. A necessary evil, but did it drive traffic? Yes.
